The new version of SurveyLab (34.7.0) is now available. This time, we’ve introduced an automatic and flexible survey import mechanism from any source, added a redirection option in the Widget, and refreshed online reports.
- Survey import
- Refreshed reports
- Redirection in Widget
- Other improvements
Survey import
You can now import surveys/tests from a file or another tool. Simply select the questions, copy them, and paste them into SurveyLab. Our mechanism allows you to load a survey from MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, or a text file, speeding up the survey scripting process by 4 – 6 times.
It’s important to maintain the correct format for imported data. Below, you’ll find an example.
Example
How do you like to spend your summer holidays?
At the seaside
In the mountains
In the forest
In the city
In the provided example, the first line is the question, and the following lines are the answer options. Simply separate each subsequent question with a blank line. You can find more details in our help system.
Functionality available in the Professional and Enterprise plan.
Refreshed reports
We’ve refreshed survey reports by updating the mechanism responsible for generating charts. As a result, the reports are not only more visually appealing but also load faster.
Redirection in Widget
We’ve added the option to redirect from the end of a survey displayed in the widget to a new survey opened in a new browser tab. This way, you can ask the most important questions in the widget and then redirect the respondent to a new survey to display additional questions.
NOTE. Widgets are small objects displayed on a website. They can be used to present short surveys and collect feedback precisely when it’s needed, such as right after completing a purchase process.
Functionality available in the Enterprise plan.
Other improvements
We’ve introduced a number of smaller changes and improvements. We enhanced the export of survey results to SPSS, improved the display of open-ended questions in 360 survey reports (when the open-ended question was on a separate questionnaire page), and fixed the display of the 360 reports list. Additionally, we added the ability to pass the language code at the end of a survey, implemented a new cookie banner, and updated several translations.
