How to prepare contacts import file?

SurveyLab allows you to upload a previously created contact database saved as an Excel or CSV file.

How to prepare a contact file.

The contact details should be entered in the following order :

  1. Email
  2. First name
  3. Last Name
  4. Phone
  5. Language
  6. Custom1
  7. Custom2
  8. Custom3
  9. …
  10. Custom40

Remember

  • The Email field is mandatory.
  • The Email needs to be unique.
  • All other fields are optional and may be left blank.
  • Each field (e.g., Email, First Name, Last Name, etc.) should be separated by a comma (,).
  • Each new contact should be entered on a new line (ENTER).

For 360-degree surveys, the email addresses of evaluators should be separated by a comma or entered on separate lines.
