Why my Excel has only 65536 rows and 256 columns

Older versions of Excel (i.e., Excel 2003 and earlier) have a limit of 65,536 rows and 256 columns. If you are using Excel 2007 or a newer version, your file can have up to 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns. You just need to save it in the .xlsx format.
